The platform Salvemos Famara publicly denounced this Saturday on its social networks the passage of a truck and a van on Famara beach.
The video shows how both vehicles circulate at high speed through the middle of this very sensitive area in the north of Lanzarote.
For its part, the rental company that owns the vehicles has made it clear that "we are exclusively dedicated to the rental of vans and commercial vehicles. As a rental company, we have no prior knowledge or control over the places that customers decide to access with the vehicles once rented".
Furthermore, they have announced that, after what happened, they have identified the clients involved. They have "urgently repossessed the vehicles and taken the corresponding measures".
Likewise, they have pointed out that the company "supports and defends respect, care, and conservation of the environment, and we do not share behaviors that could harm natural spaces".
