The students of the Pancho Lasso School are maintaining the strike because "the electricity supply has not been restored", clarified the member of the School Council, Lucía Ventoso to La Voz. A stoppage that will extend until this Wednesday and may even become indefinite again if "the electricity is not restored", said the young woman.

These statements contrast with the words of the Island Director of Education in Lanzarote, Carmen Pellón, who stated this Tuesday morning in an interview for Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero that "the problem was already solved since yesterday".

The students are demanding a written notification from Endesa confirming that "until we have a confirmation, we are not going to stop the strike", Ventoso assures. In addition, they acknowledge that "the date on which it will be fixed is still unknown, they have not given us any information."

Regarding the strike day, the young woman points out that "it went quite well and there was a lot of commotion at the door of the center." In addition, she acknowledges that "we are making a lot of noise", points out the member.
