A little piece of Lanzarote has appeared in a video published on the social network TikTok by Pedro Sánchez, president of the Government of Spain. In the recording, a group of citizens appears on an open day at the Palacio de la Moncloa and in which Sánchez, as a surprise, is in charge of being the guide to show them the building.

In one of the rooms shown during the tour, called la Bodeguilla, appears one of the figures designed by the artist César Manrique in the fifties. Although it does not have an official name, it is a ceramic woman reminiscent of Venus, a representation of femininity.

The César Manrique Foundation has reproduced throughout all these years different figures from this series of vases, which it sells in its stores as a decorative object.

On the visit, Pedro Sánchez explains that La Bodeguilla is a space that former president Felipe González "made fashionable" because he met in it with many people from the world of culture
