The Royal Yacht Club of Arrecife is currently in full electoral process, and as the statutes dictate, next Sunday, November 24, members must go to the polls to elect the person who will preside over the institution for the next few years. The elections will be held between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and members must choose between the candidacies presented by Julio Romero Ortega and María de las Mercedes López-Socas Perera.
On November 13, within the established period, the Electoral Board of the Royal Yacht Club of Arrecife, chaired by Pedro Ferrer Espino, and once the necessary endorsements were presented, validated the two candidacies presented for the presidency. As there is more than one candidacy, the electoral calendar establishes that the votes must be held next Sunday, November 24.

In addition, Estanislao Bethencourt Carrasco would be the commodore, Gemma María Pulgarín Sauras would be the sports coordinator, and Tomás Gil Toledo, Bindu Dadlani Bhojwani, and Lorena Romero Betancort would act as members.
The second candidacy for the presidency of the Royal Yacht Club of Arrecife is headed by María de las Mercedes López-Socas Perera. Her Board of Directors would include Carmen Morales Rodríguez as vice president, Agustín R. Márquez Cabrera as secretary, José S. Bethencourt Navarro would occupy the vice secretary position, Vladimir Morales Brito would be the treasurer, and Antonio J. López-Socas Perera would be the administrator. Leonardo D. Armas Lasso would also be the club's commodore, Carla Prats Poch would be the sports coordinator, and Cristina González Cabrera, Rafael Lasso Lorenzo, Pedro F. De León Padrón, and F. Alfredo González González would act as members.
The members of the Royal Yacht Club of Arrecife are called to the polls, and next Sunday, November 24, between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., they will have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote for the presidency of the club.
