A group of students from Lanzarote have demonstrated in Lanzarote to demand a university entrance exam (PAU) "more fair and accessible for all students".

The concentration took place in Arrecife on Friday morning and its route started from the Parque de Islas Canarias and ended at the Cabildo Insular.

The objective of the demonstration "is to provide more information, preferably during the month of October and November, about the university entrance exam models", explains Petra Romero, spokesperson for the Lanzarote student committee.

In addition, they also criticize the "poor management that educational institutions are carrying out". Likewise, they want to end "the uncertainty that students who want to pass this exam face", concludes Romero.

In the concentration, in which more than fifty students from different Secondary Education centers on the island participated, it was possible to see how they carried different banners with messages such as 'Our future is not an experiment' or 'PAU, I only know that I know nothing'.
