The Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz will host the citizen meeting with groups, associations and social agents, with an active presence in each of the municipality's neighborhoods, organized by the Citizen Participation Area of the Arrecife City Council, this Saturday, March 23, starting at 10:00 a.m.
“We are opening spaces so that the population can express their opinions and proposals on issues that directly affect them and thus be able to design action plans that respond to these demands,” said Councilor Cathaysa Suárez. These conferences, Suárez pointed out, will also allow "establishing links and promoting collaboration between different social actors", such as community organizations, public institutions, and citizens in general, “which will facilitate the implementation of joint actions.”
The objectives of the Meeting will be worked on through the SWOT technique (weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities); a strategic analysis tool used to evaluate both the internal and external environment. The SWOT analysis is carried out by identifying and evaluating these four components, with the aim of developing strategies that take advantage of strengths and opportunities, while minimizing weaknesses and threats. It allows organizations to know their current situation, identify possible challenges and make more informed decisions based on the information collected.
