Emerlan has developed a high-level technical training in Fuerteventura coordinated with the helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), where real emergency scenarios were recreated to strengthen the operational capacity of its teams.
The organization has expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Territorial Policy, Territorial Cohesion and Water, as well as to the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies, for their support and authorization to carry out this fundamental exercise.
During the day, two key maneuvers were carried out. On the one hand, the rescue of a climber from a vertical wall, executed by the Emerlan Height Rescue Unit in coordination with the GES helicopter.
A simulated search for a missing person was also carried out, in which the Emerlan K9 Canine Unit participated, demonstrating its high specialization.
In addition, the Gesplan Emergency Support Unit participated, within an operation that integrated three land resources and eight personnel, all acting in perfect synchronization.
Emerlan declares that "it continues to advance in its specialization in search and rescue, incorporating aerial means that allow a faster, safer and more effective response in real situations. This type of training reinforces inter-institutional coordination and consolidates the organization's commitment to operational excellence and continuous training."
