The astronomer, Ramón López, has captured for the first time the sighting of the conjunction between Jupiter and the Moon this Wednesday morning around 6:00 a.m. in Playa Blanca.

"In the eleven years that I have been specializing in it, it is the first time I have seen a sighting of this type", confirms López.

Although the fan of observing these phenomena recognizes that "it is not something strange, or casual", since "we know in advance that they are going to occur", he informs. For that moment, "I'm already prepared with my camera to take the photo", he says.

"We have the celestial charts, in which you can know the conjunctions from here during the year", he says. However, although this sighting "does not usually occur", "the one of "Moon and Venus" does occur a lot", he points out.
