The Martínez Abolafio Foundation and Akacenter have signed a collaboration agreement to promote a training project in Equatorial Guinea, aimed at strengthening capacities, improving employability, and accessing educational and technological resources.
Within the framework of this agreement, Akacenter will contribute to the project through the donation of books and computer equipment, as well as by granting access to its online training platform, which offers a wide variety of courses in areas such as languages, computer science, and other training specialties.
The project also includes the possibility of developing specific training actions adapted to the needs of the beneficiaries, including subjects such as first aid, socio-health care, and digital skills, among others.
With this initiative, both organizations seek to facilitate access to training, reduce barriers to knowledge, promote digital inclusion, and contribute to the social and educational development of Equatorial Guinea, valuing education and knowledge transfer as tools for social transformation.
The president of the Martínez Abolafio Foundation has highlighted the importance of this collaboration: “Education has the ability to open doors and transform paths. With this alliance, we want to bring real learning and development opportunities to many people. We are talking about people, about accompanying, about sharing, and about generating opportunities. That is why we are so excited to promote this project together with Akacenter. We are convinced that training is the most powerful tool for building a better future.”
For his part, Juan Pablo Cabrera, manager of Grupo Akacenter, has highlighted: “For us, the signing of this agreement represents an opportunity to apply our training methodology in a practical, useful, and sustainable way, putting our experience at the service of a project that seeks to provide free resources and training opportunities in Bata. We wanted our collaboration to go beyond the contribution of books and computer equipment, also making a specific training platform available to the Foundation that it can manage and adapt directly to the real needs of its center and its students in Equatorial Guinea. With this, we seek not only to expand learning possibilities, but also to promote the internationalization of our educational model and strengthen cooperation ties between the Canary Islands and Equatorial Guinea”.
