A boat with 11 immigrants, of whom three have said they are minors, arrived this Wednesday morning at Famara Beach, in the Papelillo area, as confirmed to La Voz by the Civil Guard.
It was the agents who carry out surveillance work at the house of the former President of the Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who intercepted the occupants of the boat, seeing them walking through the area. Afterwards, the boat was located on the beach.
The occupants are nine men, of whom three have reported to be minors, and two women. All of them have been attended by the Red Cross, which has distributed food, clothing and blankets to them.
The immigrants have been transferred to the Civil Guard barracks of Costa Teguise in good health, according to reports from the Benemérita. Later they will be handed over to the National Police, which is the one that has the competences in matters of foreigners.
