Members of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium rescued a 24-year-old woman at 4:00 AM this Thursday, October 23. She was disoriented in the areas between Punta Mujeres and Haría.
According to reports from the Consortium, the operation was activated after receiving a notice from CECOES 1-1-2, which warned that a person was lost in that area. The firefighters managed to contact the young woman, who provided them with her location via her mobile phone, although she explained that she was disoriented, cold, and had little battery left.
The agents went to the scene and conducted a search on foot until they located the woman, who was in good health. Subsequently, she was transferred to a relative's home.
