A woman approximately 46 years old was injured on Friday night after falling in an apartment complex in Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías. The incident occurred around 8:43 PM, at which time the emergency services were activated.
Upon arrival, the emergency teams proceeded to immobilize the woman's cervical spine and mobilize her to place her in a supine position. Subsequently, the Health Emergency Technicians took vital signs and performed the corresponding assistance procedures.
Once stabilized, the personnel coordinated with the Advanced Life Support unit to complete the immobilization and transfer of the affected person to the medicalized ambulance.
Personnel from Civil Protection of Tías, Local Police, health staff from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, and Volunteer Firefighters of Lanzarote worked jointly and coordinated in the intervention.
