Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Water Consortium of Lanzarote have announced this Monday at 9:00 p.m. that "it is necessary" to close the water supplies in the areas of Haría, Punta Mujeres, Máguez, Guinate, Los Valles, Tías, Mácher and Uga.

This situation also affects the agricultural areas of La Costa and Tajaste in the same way. "The low levels recorded in the reservoirs require the suspension of supply until the reserves are leveled," Canal Gestión issued in a statement published on its website.

Likewise, it has reported "another breakdown in the distribution network requires the supply of Arrieta to remain closed until it is repaired".

On the other hand, it is specified that the towns of Teguise, Mala, El Mojón, Guatiza, San Bartolomé and Yaiza may experience pressure and flow anomalies in the service due to the maneuvers necessary to regularize the system.

Regarding agricultural farms, it is announced that today, Monday, it is not possible to supply the areas that are scheduled to receive both reclaimed water and drinking water on this day.

Apart from the circumstance described, there are other incidents due to minor breakdowns and programmed maneuvers that could cause some momentary alteration in the supply of specific streets, but which are limited to daily and habitual management.

Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Water Consortium regret the situation that the supply of Lanzarote and La Graciosa is suffering, showing the firm commitment to be working and putting all possible resources to channel solutions to existing structural problems in the short, medium and long term.
