The National Police investigates a violent robbery that occurred early Friday afternoon in Arrecife, according to police sources confirmed to La Voz.
The incident took place on Inés street when a woman suffered the theft of a chain she was wearing. The attacker, unable to snatch it off her, allegedly threw her to the ground and hit her.
After the event, the National Police moved to the scene of the events and the affected woman was transferred to José Molina Orosa Hospital to be treated for the blows.
According to what this medium has been able to learn, so far no person has been detained although the National Police keeps the investigation open to try to identify the author.
