A vehicle catches fire on the LZ-2 near Tías

The Volunteer Firefighters of Lanzarote needed about 600 liters of water to extinguish the flames

A vehicle in motion was completely engulfed in flames on the LZ-2 highway, southbound, near Tías. 

A unit from the Volunteer Firefighters of Lanzarote, along with a fire engine, was dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival, a basic life support unit from the Canary Islands Emergency Services (SUC) was already present, directing traffic to ensure the safety of drivers.

Firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire using water and foam, managing to control the flames without any injuries. In total, approximately 600 liters of water were used to completely put out the fireOnce the fire was extinguished, personnel from the Southern Park of the Emergency Consortium arrived at the scene to complete the intervention and secure the area.
