Firefighters from the South Park and Arrecife extinguished the fire that occurred in two cars on Risco Prieto street in Playa Quemada on Friday night. The owner of one of them suffered burns to one hand and had to be assisted by healthcare personnel.
According to reports from the Consortium, once alerted by the CECOES, firefighters went to the scene where the Local Police and Civil Guard were already present. The firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire "with three lines of attack and two teams of Firefighters from South Park and Arrecife." Both vehicles burned completely. Once extinguished, the area and both vehicles continue to be cooled down.
The Civil Guard took charge of the report.
