Firefighters rescued two people, a man and a woman, with health problems from a home in Playa Blanca this Friday, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.

The events occurred around 0.06 hours on Bolina street in the tourist town. The man, an elderly gentleman, was shouting for help from the house because he could not move.

Local Police officers and firefighters have traveled to the scene. Emergency personnel had to enter through a window that was open on the first floor of the building.

Upon entering, they found the two affected lying on the ground and the 26-year-old girl was also unconscious. Immediately afterwards, with the help of the paramedics, they took the young woman on a stretcher to the ambulance and she was later evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
