The Volunteer Firefighters of Lanzarote rescued this Tuesday two operators trapped during a repair service in a complex in Puerto del Carmen. The events occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Alemania Street when the company manager notified the firefighters of what had happened.
The two workers were trapped when the crane basket they were trying to climb to the roof with was blocked and they could not get down. The emergency teams accessed the roof with the help of the ladder, reinforced the basket and lowered the operators one by one, secured by ropes.
In addition, Civil Protection of Tías also traveled to the area, providing service to help the Boluntis in the rescue.
