Two people have been slightly injured after a buggy collided with a van on the LZ-35, near Montaña Blanca, in the municipality of Tías. The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. At that time, CECOES was alerted to the front-side collision of the two vehicles.
Local Police officers, a SUC medicalized ambulance, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Paramedics attended to the driver of the van, a 51-year-old man who presented with cervicalgia, and the driver of the buggy, a 21-year-old British woman who suffered an injury to her leg.
According to firefighters, "the driver of the buggy was assisted inside the buggy by two paramedics who immobilized her with a neck brace and bandaged the wound on her tibia."
