The National Police have arrested two men, 32 and 36 years old, as alleged perpetrators of several crimes of robbery with force. The investigation carried out by the agents of the National Police, after the
commission of multiple robberies carried out in different commercial premises in the municipality of Arrecife, was able to verify that the alleged perpetrator of the same was a man who had recently been released from prison.
The arrested man had allegedly perpetrated a total of 16 robberies in establishments in a period of 2 months, time he had been free after leaving the Tahíche prison last March, where he served a 9-year sentence for crimes against property.
Along with the main defendant, another man was arrested for his alleged involvement in the last robbery committed, which took place in the latter's workplace, where they obtained more than 8,000 euros in cash.
Once the police report was completed, the detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, which ordered the imprisonment of the main defendant.
