The National Police of Arrecife have arrested two men and a woman, all with police records, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of assault and robbery with violence. They were immediately arrested and placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority, who ordered the imprisonment of one of them.
On the morning of August 14, the National Police 091 telephone line received a call reporting a fight outside a bar in the capital of Lanzarote, where there were injured people.
The agents, who arrived at the scene immediately, did not locate the victims and the alleged perpetrators, but they did observe traces of blood and there were numerous witnesses at the scene. They stated that, moments before, two young men entered the bar and began arguing with two other men. Without a word, the aggressors began to hit the other two men with a broken bottle and a knife. After the aggression, the perpetrators fled in a car driven by a woman.
The victims were located in a nearby hospital, where they had to be treated for their injuries and several stitches in various parts of the body. They told the agents how two young men entered the bar where they were and, when they refused to give them a cigarette and money, they began to attack them. It was at that moment that the aggressors took the opportunity to steal 300 euros in cash and a mobile phone.
The police investigation led to the full identification of the alleged perpetrators, one of them and the woman, were the same ones who had been arrested in early August for attempted homicide. The third perpetrator was also identified thanks to the physical characteristics provided by the witnesses and the victims. In addition, the two aggressors are in an irregular situation in our country.
