Two people were injured after the car they were traveling in ran off the road and overturned near Charco de Los Clicos in Yaiza, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on the LZ-703 in the El Guincho Volcano. After being alerted, the CECOES dispatched agents from the Local Police, the Civil Guard Traffic Unit, and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service.
The healthcare personnel attended to the occupants of the car, a 35-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, who suffered a head trauma and another in an arm. After stabilizing them, they were transferred by ambulance to the Playa Blanca Health Center. The firefighters proceeded to disconnect the battery and mark the vehicle.
For their part, the police officers carried out the corresponding report.
