THEY WERE CARRYING AN IRREGULAR LICENSE FROM PORTUGAL AND ANOTHER FROM ROMANIA

The Local Police of Teguise has arrested two people of foreign nationality accused of falsifying a driver's license, charging them with crimes of forgery in a public document and against road safety.

The agents located these two people in different controls when they were driving with "irregular documentation", according to the City Council. The first driver had a driver's license from Portugal, while the other had a document from Romania.

The agents suspected that the permits could be false, so they seized them and carried out a "thorough examination, with appropriate optical and light methods." The police verified that they were false permits, so they charged these two drivers and sent the documents to the Arrecife Duty Court.

From the Consistory they have indicated that this type of action is being carried out thanks to the training that the agents have received in the field of documentoscopy and documentary falsehood.
