The Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote intervened on the afternoon of Sunday, April 20, in a fire declared in the tourist town of Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza.
At 8:00 p.m., alerted by the CECOES, the troops moved to Avenida de Irlanda, where the fire of two cardboard recycling containers had occurred. Upon arrival, they found that both tanks were burning completely, so they proceeded to their immediate extinction.
The containers were completely burned. Once the work was completed, the action was reported to both the CECOES and the Fire Department headquarters, and the teams returned to base.
