The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Costa Teguise, in Lanzarote, arrested two people as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence that occurred in the town of Punta Mujeres, in Haría.

At the end of June, a report was filed at the Main Post of Costa Teguise for a crime of robbery with violence for stealing various objects "at knifepoint". The complainant, after locating some "airpods" in a vehicle using the geolocation system that had been previously stolen from him, confronted the detainees who, brandishing a knife, not only threatened him to keep the stolen "airpods" but also forced him to hand over his mobile phone, even causing injuries to the complainant's hand.

Once the facts were verified, the owner of the rental vehicle used for the escape was located and arrested. In his statement, he identified the perpetrators of the criminal act, reporting that they were the ones using said vehicle. After exploring this line of investigation, the identity of the alleged perpetrators of the crime was obtained, being a man and a woman.

After several days of searching, they were located at a home in San Bartolomé, and one of them was arrested, while the other managed to escape, but was quickly located.

The two detainees were transferred to the Arrecife Court of Instance, Plaza nº 4, to be imprisoned due to pending matters with justice.
