Two arrested for assaulting a woman to steal a gold chain

The Civil Guard of the main port of Yaiza has had four people during the month of October for different crimes of robbery with violence and robbery with force in things in this municipality. One of the actions took place on October 8, when the agents arrested two people of foreign nationality, H.J. and A.A., as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence that occurred on the 4th of the same month.

The investigation began based on the complaint filed by the victim of the robbery, who informed the agents that, during the early morning of October 4, two people had assaulted her to steal a gold chain she was wearing.

The consequent police investigations led to the identification and arrest of the alleged perpetrators, who are charged with a crime of robbery with violence. The two detainees, who have numerous police records, have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Duty Court of the town of Arrecife.

In addition, on October 4, the Civil Guard arrested F.R.P.R, a resident of Lanzarote with numerous criminal records, as the alleged perpetrator of a theft inside a hospitality business in Playa Blanca. According to the Civil Guard, F.R.P.R allegedly accessed this place and stole several items from inside, such as a mobile phone and cash.

As a result of the investigation, this man was arrested and charged with a theft offense. The arrested person was placed at the disposal of the Duty Court of Arrecife.

 

Arrest for theft


In another service, the agents arrested on October 18 a person with initials V.J.V.V., a resident of the island of Lanzarote, as the alleged perpetrator of a theft that occurred in a home in the town of Yaiza, at the end of last August.

The Civil Guard's investigations into the crime led to the identification and arrest of the alleged perpetrator, V.J.V.V., who is charged with a theft offense. The detainee has been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Duty Court of Arrecife.

The Civil Guard continues to work on the recovery of the stolen objects in all these crimes against property.
