The baby who suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest last Sunday, April 12 in Tinajo has died, according to what La Voz has learned.
As published La Voz, agents of the Local Police of Tinajo managed to recover from cardiorespiratory arrest the neonate of barely twenty days.
The baby's parents initially went to the Tinajo Health Center, but found it closed, so they quickly went in search of help to the Local Police station.
Upon arrival, the agents performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the baby for approximately ten minutes until the SUC ambulance arrived and the health personnel continued with the CPR for twenty more minutes. In total, they performed this maneuver on the baby for about half an hour.
After that, the minor was urgently transferred to José Molina Orosa Hospital and referred to the Mother and Child Hospital of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where a few days later he passed away.
