A vehicle crashed into a public lighting lamppost, causing it to fall onto the public road in Arrecife. The accident occurred around 3:45 PM this Sunday, January 18, on Olof Palme Avenue in the capital of Lanzarote.
Local Police and Emergency Consortium agents were dispatched to the scene. Once there, firefighters confirmed that the lamppost had fallen to the ground with its electrical wiring exposed, posing a risk to pedestrians and vehicles.
