Firefighters extinguished the fire in three containers at around 4:20 p.m. this Thursday on Los Comederos street in Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The troops proceeded to extinguish the fire with sprayed water. The flames affected three glass containers and a cage where cardboard is stored, which caused an intense column of black smoke that could be seen from different points of the town.
Members of the Emergency Consortium, Civil Guard agents and Local Police officers have traveled to the scene.
