Maritime Rescue has located three boats this Thursday morning off the coast of Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

In the first boat, about 47 people of Maghreb and sub-Saharan origin are traveling. Among them are seven women and fifteen men, as reported by the Consortium Manager.

In the second boat, according to initial estimates, there are about 35 people.

In addition, a third boat has arrived with 42 people of Maghreb origin, which was located by a private individual from the south of La Graciosa, who alerted Emergencies to the presence of the boat heading towards Playa de Famara. It is estimated that there are 40 men and 2 women on board. After that, the firefighters moved to the area with jet skis to try to retain it before entering land.

Finally, the Salvamar Al Nair was able to intercept it between Lanzarote and Montaña Amarilla (La Graciosa). The ES-11 boat of Emerlan and territorial patrols of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise have also participated in the operation.

The Emergency Coordination Center reports that the occupants of this third boat will arrive at the Commercial dock at 12:45 p.m. and that they are all in apparent good health.
