Drug operation in Órzola

The National Police has arrested two men and a woman, one of them with numerous police records, as alleged perpetrators of a drug trafficking crime. The National Police began an investigation into a criminal organization that was introducing large quantities of drugs on the coasts of Lanzarote.

In this operation, in its first phase, six people were arrested and eight homes were searched in the municipalities of Arrecife, Órzola, Tinajo and Teguise, where one kilogram of cocaine, 315 kilograms of hashish, 63,000 euros in cash, nine vehicles, two boats and two jet skis were seized.

In phases two and three of this police investigation, three people were arrested and the search carried out in two homes seized 169 grams of cocaine, 56 kilograms of hashish and more than 10,000 euros in cash.

Once they were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, it ordered the imprisonment of two of them.

In the first phase of the operation, it resulted in six arrests and the seizure of 1 kilogram of cocaine, 315 kilograms of hashish, 63,000 euros in cash, nine vehicles, two boats and two jet skis.

In phases two and three, it culminated with three new arrests and the seizure of 169 grams of cocaine, 56 kilograms of hashish and more than 10,000 euros in cash.
