More than 70,000 euros. That is the amount that the thieves would have managed to take from the Jameos del Agua ticket office in the robbery that took place on Sunday morning and that the management of the Tourist Centers has reported this Monday to the Civil Guard. The Civil Guard has already started the investigation and has confirmed to La Voz that the money stolen could exceed that amount.

After the management of the Tourist Centers filed the complaint this Monday morning, the Judicial Police team of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise has taken charge of the investigation. The agents have carried out a first "ocular inspection", in which, according to the police force to La Voz, they have been able to verify that the perpetrators of the robbery had not "forced" or "destroyed" anything in the facilities to perpetrate it.

The money stolen in this tourist center corresponded to the collection of the ticket office of the last days, last Wednesday, Holy Thursday and Friday and Saturday. Presumably, as several holidays had taken place, the money could not have been transferred in an armored van and for that reason it was still in the facilities. Civil Guards have already interviewed several people and continue with their investigations to find the person or persons responsible for the robbery.
