The company in charge of the soundproofing of the homes in Playa Honda located next to the Lanzarote Airport have reported to La Voz the theft of several windows and doors that are being installed since last September by AENA and the César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport Acoustic Insulation Plan.
Specifically, the stolen material comprises three windows, a balcony door and an entrance door, all in PVC with profile reinforcement and acoustic glass. The color of this material on the exterior is blue, while on its interior it is white.
According to what they say, the robbery took place during the past early morning in a dwelling whose tenant, who was renting, abandoned. The company explains that the material is left in each of the dwellings to be installed throughout that same week.
The company points out that "it is not a common material nor easy to go unnoticed, since this type of carpentry has very specific characteristics, so its commercialization or installation should generate suspicion".
Therefore, they appeal to citizen collaboration to recover the stolen material. "If someone has seen, been offered, or has information about this material, please report it immediately to the Civil Guard."
