A woman had to be rescued after suffering a fall and being unable to walk, according to the Emergency Consortium. The incident took place around 12:32 PM this Friday, February 11, on Pozo beach in the Los Ajaches Natural Park.
The affected person presented pain in the left ankle and significant swelling at the same level. Emergency personnel immobilized the ankle with the help of a splint and transferred her to Playa Quemada.
In the town, there was a Basic Life Support ambulance from the Canarian Emergency Services, and the healthcare personnel took charge of its assistance and subsequent transfer to the Molina Orosa hospital.
