Firefighters extinguished this past early morning the fire of a vehicle that was located on Trinquete street in Arrecife, according to the Consortium of Security and Emergency.
The alert was communicated by CECOCES at 4:30 in the morning and transferred emergency services to the scene, where local police officers and the National Police Corps were present, who reported the breakage of one of the windows of the vehicle for the application of a portable extinguisher for fire containment.
After inspecting the vehicle and verifying that the fire affected the interior of the vehicle with various hot spots, emergency services proceeded to extinguish it by applying water.
Once the fire was extinguished, with the interior of the vehicle affected by the incident, they proceeded to disconnect the battery as a safety measure. Likewise, once the absence of danger was confirmed, they declared the service finished.
