Volunteer Firefighters of Lanzarote (Boluntis) have intervened throughout this past Tuesday, March 4 in Puerto del Carmen to face several incidents caused by the rain in the municipality of Tías.
In total, the Boluntis carried out eight interventions in homes, garages and commercial premises due to flooding. To this was added four road cleanings and their action in the event of the collapse of a wall.
In addition, the Local Police requested their collaboration due to the road closures.
They also had to intervene due to the risk of falling of a commercial sign and in the placement of manholes and drains.
For this, they needed a fire truck, with six firefighters, three intervention vehicles with five volunteers, a logistics vehicle with three volunteers and a coordination vehicle.
