During the afternoon of this Monday, a patrol of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise found "a very peculiar situation" when they were about to deliver a judicial summons in the area of El Francés, near Playa San Juan in the municipality of Teguise.
When the agents arrived at the house, "they found the door open and a great mess in the house". When verbally calling the residents of the house, a voice was heard at the back of the house.
Once inside the house, they observe a person lying in their bed. The man, who is around 60 years old, then stated that he had been lying in bed since this Sunday, without moving, since he had fallen. At that moment, he presented pain in a rib and in the lumbar area.
Once the man is attended to, the Civil Guard agents call 112 to report what happened. An ambulance from the Canarian Health Service (SCS) arrives at the scene, the paramedics quickly attend to this person and transfer him to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
