The Lanzarote Emergency Consortium is registering multiple incidents since this wind and swell storm began, especially this Sunday. One of the most important took place in Costa Teguise. A decorative boat mast at one of the entrances to Pueblo Marinero had to be removed due to the risk of falling on one of the restaurants in the area.
Most of the incidents are occurring in the capital of Lanzarote. Fallen palm trees, loose fences, fallen light poles. In Tías, some sheets from the roof of the Tías Pavilion have come loose. The same is happening with the roof of the Guacimeta airport gas station, which has come loose.
According to reports from the Emergency Consortium, all the beaches of Lanzarote and La Graciosa have the red flag raised due to the waves. With respect to the ports, although the one in Playa Blanca has had some delays, for the moment they remain operational, as does the airport.
