The assaults on a house in Tahíche that resulted in two 19-year-olds being arrested by the Civil Guard for robbery with violence, illegal detention and injuries also resulted in another arrest, that of the victim himself. During the investigation, the agents found 400 grams of marijuana in the house, so the assaulted person was also arrested, in this case for a crime against public health.
As reported last week by the Civil Guard, the assailants accessed the house twice, once on November 1 and again on November 5, and after assaulting the victim and tying his hands with a rope, they stole his mobile phone and cash the first time and the house keys the second time. Now, sources close to the investigation have told La Voz that the drug may have been the reason for the two assaults, with the aim of stealing it.
The investigation began on November 2, following the first complaint filed by the victim. However, according to the Civil Guard, he provided "few details" about the events. This raised the suspicions of the agents who, after receiving the second complaint, demanded more details from the complainant and ended up finding marijuana in the house that had been assaulted.
Thus, in addition to arresting the alleged assailants for two crimes of robbery with violence, two crimes of illegal detention and two crimes of injury after being located in Arrecife and Arrieta, the agents also arrested the victim for a crime against public health.
