The three radars on the Tinguatón road have been broken this Sunday a few weeks after their commissioning. These radars that control the speed on this road have been involved in controversy from the beginning. Both the City Council and many citizens who use this road have been against them by reducing the speed at which you can drive on it, a maximum of 60 kilometers per hour.

Last August, solar panels began to be installed in the radars after being paralyzed by order of the Tinajo City Council since August 2017, alleging that they should be "subject to license". However, "a report from the legal services of the Cabildo establishes that the license is not necessary because it is within the easement line and are necessary elements for road safety", said Saray Rodríguez, Councilor for Public Works of the Cabildo, explaining that the project "does not involve inter-administrative cooperation" and that therefore "the file continued" which has concluded with its commissioning.
