The National Police have found a total of 100 marijuana pots in a house in El Charco de San Ginés, in Arrecife. The plants weighed more than eight kilos and were found after agents were alerted to a robbery taking place in this house. Two people have been arrested.

In the house, according to the agents, there was also a homemade laboratory for the treatment of the leaves, with an individualized irrigation system, air filters and pipes throughout the plant. Even, the house had a mechanized water system, dehumidifiers, heat lamps, opaque windows and chemical products. The National Police verified that the entire house was exclusively conditioned as a plantation and laboratory.

This finding took place at the end of last February, when agents attached to the Police Station of the National Police Corps of Arrecife became aware of a possible robbery in a house located in El Charco de San Ginés. In this way, they went to the scene to arrest the perpetrators, when they found the marijuana laboratory.

Thus, upon arriving at the house they verified that the door was open and forced, carrying out an inspection in it without finding anyone, but a real homemade "greenhouse" of cannabis plants.

Subsequent investigations into the possible residents or owners of the house, allowed to find out the identity of the people who had it leased, proceeding to the arrest of I. C. M., a 37-year-old woman, from Arrecife and R. G. S., a 35-year-old man, from Pontevedra, both without records.

After completing the relevant procedures, the detainees, together with the seized effects, were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
