Agents of the Narcotics Unit of the National Police of Lanzarote have dismantled a network dedicated to drug trafficking and money laundering on the island. As La Voz has confirmed, the dismantling of this alleged criminal gang took place on January 18.
In total, the National Police arrested five people that day, all of them from Lanzarote, linked to this alleged network. As this editorial staff has learned, some of those arrested had criminal records.
In addition, 15.5 kilograms of cocaine, as well as money and high-end vehicles, were seized in the police operation.
The proceedings in this case are still under investigation, so further arrests cannot be ruled out.
