The new and rapid action of the Local Police of Arrecife has prevented this Monday a new occupation of a single-family house in the Titerroy neighborhood. The local officers were alerted by the neighbors of the adjoining houses where they reported the attempt to occupy this house forcing a door with bars and damaging the windows that face the street.

The mediation of the Local Police has finally ensured that the property was not occupied, and in a coordinated manner the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, ordered several crews from the Department of Public Works to wall up these windows with blocks. These works have been carried out on the morning of this Monday, March 10.

The City Council has had the approval of the heirs of the owner family of this property, which has made the rapid walling possible.

The neighbors, who feared a new focus of insecurity and nuisance in the neighborhood, have thanked through comments on social networks the rapid action of the Local Police, and have appreciated the agility and coordination with which the capital City Council has walled up the accesses to this property, and that normality and security return to the streets of this neighborhood.
