The detainee for stabbing another man in the Titerroy neighborhood has been placed in provisional prison by order of the Investigating Court Number 2 of Arrecife. The magistrate accuses him of a crime of attempted homicide, due to the severity of the injuries presented by the victim.
The events occurred on the night of last Monday, October 24, and, according to the notice received by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies, they began due to a fight. When the paramedics arrived at the scene, on Tinamala Street, they found a person lying on the sidewalk bleeding, with a stab wound in one leg and another in the chest.
That second injury is what could have entailed a vital risk, although the medical personnel managed to stabilize the injured man, who was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
The National Police then managed to locate the alleged perpetrator of the attack, who was brought to justice and is already in the Tahíche penitentiary center by order of the judge, while the investigation of the case continues.
