A 61-year-old woman was rescued this Friday by the Emergency Group helicopter after suffering a fall on the Camino de los Gracioseros, a route that leads to Bajo Risco beach, in Risco de Famara, a place of difficult access.

According to 112, the injured woman has suffered a moderate leg injury, barring complications, and has been transferred to Lanzarote airport, from where she has been transported in an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

Firefighters have collaborated with the GES, and once they have accessed the place where the affected person was, they have transferred her to a safe area so that the helicopter could evacuate her.

The Local Police have also helped in the rescue operation.
