The GES helicopter rescued a hiker in distress on Montaña La Degollada in Yaiza. At around 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, CECOES received an alert reporting the situation of a woman who was in a rugged area and could not continue on her way.
Agents from the Civil Guard, the Emergency Consortium, Civil Protection, Local Police and the rescue helicopter were dispatched to the scene.
The GES helicopter with the collaboration of firefighters rescued the hiker unharmed and transferred her to land to be attended by the paramedics, although it was not necessary to transfer her to any hospital.
