A hiker was rescued this Tuesday by the GES helicopter after suffering a fall in Los Ajaches in Playa Blanca.
The incident took place at around 13:04 hours when CECOES received an alert reporting that a hiker had been injured after suffering a fall and could not continue the march.
A GES helicopter, an SUC ambulance, the Emergency Consortium, Local Police and Civil Protection have traveled to the scene.
The affected woman, who presented a moderate trauma to one leg, was rescued by the GES helicopter and transferred to the fire station's helipad, where an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service transferred her to the emergency service of Molina Orosa.
