Several family jewels and about 100,000 euros in cash were stolen on August 22 from a house in La Graciosa, where the company Líneas Romero kept the collection of the last days. The money and jewels were inside a safe, but apparently it was not forced, so either it was open or the assailants had access to the key or the combination.

In addition, they say that everything points to the fact that the thief or thieves knew what they were looking for when they entered this address at dawn, where the Civil Guard has not confirmed that they broke any locks or windows, although sources close to the victims of the robbery claim that they did.

In any case, the author or authors would not necessarily have to be people close to or neighbors of La Graciosa, and the hypothesis that they are people from outside the island who heard some conversation that put them on the trail of the money is not ruled out.

Thus, all lines of investigation remain open and the Civil Guard continues to work to try to clarify the robbery and find the perpetrators.
