The Civil Guard identifies an inmate of the Tahíche prison, with the initials T.R.S., Spanish nationality and 41 years of age, as the alleged perpetrator of the burning of three vehicles in Morro Jable in Fuerteventura. As detailed by the Benemérita, the events took place in the early morning of May 10, when the fire of three cars occurred in the area known as Barranco El Ciervo in the town of Morro Jable - Pájara.
The Civil Guard of Morro Jable initiated the police investigations based on the initial ocular inspection and different statements from witnesses. On the other hand, the agents analyzed a significant number of hours of security camera recordings, finding out how a person left the ravine area, where there are cattle pens, approached the vehicles and then the vehicles exploded, returning again to the ravine area.
With this last piece of information, the agents were able to fully identify T.R.S. as the alleged perpetrator of the damage, who, when the Civil Guard proceeded to arrest him, was found to be an inmate in the Tahíche prison for other reasons, charging him with the crime of damage that clarifies these events.
