A new hoax with racist overtones, in which it is stated that a group of people of Arab origin stabbed a girl in Playa Honda, is circulating through Lanzarote.
It has been the Civil Guard who has confirmed that this information is false, after La Voz has had access to a message and an audio that are being spread through social networks.
They point out that "groups of people of Arab origin are passing through Playa Honda to attack young girls, harm them and steal their mobile phones", even stating that "they stabbed a young girl" in front of a restaurant.
However, the information spread in that message - where they ask to "be careful" and spread it - is not true.
